Experiencing Coco Mitchell....

What an amazing experience...okay, walking into the Night Hotel on 45Th street I see the legendary Coco Mitchell. Former Supermodel, well still a supermodel in my mind, Coco rocks it out on a shoot for new magazine (can't say yet). For makeup I went straight to glamour of course!! It was amazing I had no limits ,and boy did I go all the way. For deeper toned women you have to bring out the features by highlighting and contouring. I used cream base foundations and light on the powder for a natural skin finish. For hair, I added a hair piece for length and volume, and created soft curls for romance. I loved working with Coco, inspiring, elegant, stunning and sexy!!!!! Need I say more....

Makeup for Darius Wobil Fashion show

So I was the Key Makeup artist for this show. The designer was inspired by the 1980's, but with a modern twist.
EYES: For the eyes I really wanted them to pop! On the lid I used Copper pigment for M.A.C. I needed the crease to appear deeper than usual so I used Sophia eyeshadow from Nars Cosmetics, smoked out the lower rim with Blacktrack gel liner and set it with Carbon eyeshadow from M.A.C. Finish the eyes off with Dior Blackout Mascara (my favorite) to give volume and depth, and length.
CHEEKS: I wanted cheeks lifted and popped all at the same time, I know a bit much but so was the 1980's. I used Cargo bronzer to contour the cheekbones, with a bit of blush popped on the apple of the cheeks (Sweet as Cocoa, M.A.C).
LIPS; I needed the lips to be a deep red, in the wine family. So I used a cream base in a pod by Makeup Forever in red, I then lined the lips with a plum liner by Milani and topped the lips off with lip gloss, in the purple family.
This project was fun to do and the girls looked amazing!!
